Brian Jungen will be in conversation with Chief Curator Daina Augaitis at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Sunday, February 12, 2:00pm.

"Brian Jungen speaks of being interested in ³the idea of exposing the interior, making visible what might otherwise remain obscured.² Working with popular consumer goods and ordinary, mass-produced objects as his material, Jungen creates hybrid
sculptures and installations. Drawing out questions about the representation of cultures, museum display and the global consumer economy, his remarkable works are also extraordinary feats of visual transformation that inspire a sense of wonder."
